The WORKS Stage 2 Calibrated/CARB Compliant Turbo Kit is a comprehensive system designed to significantly enhance the performance of your 2013-2016 Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ. This kit is 50-state smog legal and CARB compliant, ensuring it meets emissions standards. At its core is a genuine Garrett GT28 ball-bearing, water-cooled turbocharger, capable of producing approximately 12 psi of peak boost. It's paired with an efficient air-to-liquid aluminum intercooler featuring a front-mounted auxiliary radiator to manage charge temperatures effectively. The up and downpipes are internally and externally ceramic coated for improved durability and heat management. This turbo kit is engineered to deliver substantial power gains, with an expected increase of around 90 horsepower and 90 ft-lbs of torque at the crank when running on 91 octane gasoline, representing a roughly 55% increase over stock performance. A provided ECU calibration is necessary for CARB compliance and optimal performance, and is supplied as a locked calibration. Please note, this kit is not compatible with automatic transmission or right-hand drive vehicles. While not strictly required, the installation of stiffer motor mounts is highly recommended to properly support the enhanced performance. The kit comes with a 12-month, 12,000-mile manufacturer warranty against defects.
