Stage 2 Turbocharger

The Equilibrium Tuning Precision Turbocharger (Stage 2) is designed as a direct drop-in replacement for VW/Audi MQB 1.8T and 2.0T models, requiring no modifications for installation. It incorporates a high-efficiency, next-generation CEA 56mm compressor wheel, offering increased horsepower, faster response, and reduced lag. The turbo also features a high-flow, high-efficiency 56mm CEA turbine wheel, a ported shroud 3.5" inlet / 1.8" outlet compressor cover, and an all-new water-cooled dual ceramic ball bearing center cartridge. The turbine housing is constructed from investment cast HK30 stainless steel to withstand high temperatures. Installation accessories are included with this turbocharger, as is a blow-off valve. However, a wastegate actuator is not included. The turbo comes with a 1-year, no-fault, no-hassle warranty. To fully utilize the capabilities of this turbocharger, Equilibrium Tuning recommends supporting modifications including their Multi-port Injection kit, Pro-Series or Tsunami Low-Pressure Fuel Pump, 5Bar TMAP/PUT Sensor Kit, and Discharge Pipe Kit. Upgrading the intercooler and intake, such as the DO88 intercooler and Blaze Performance V2 Intake, is also advised for optimal airflow. Additionally, a custom ECU calibration via E-tuning is required for your specific vehicle and setup to ensure maximum power and safety. For manual transmissions, an upgraded clutch is recommended, while automatic transmissions will require a DSG tune. Upgraded motor, transmission, and dogbone mounts are also suggested. The Precision Stage 2 Turbo is compatible with popular MQB vehicles, including the VW MK7/MK7.5 GTI, GLI, Golf R, and Audi 8V/8V.5 A3, S3, and 8S TT/TT-S models, as well as other VW/Audi MQB 1.8T cars.
