The Pure Turbos PT-BMW-B48-UT is a Stage 2 turbocharger upgrade designed for the 2.0L inline-4 B48 (Gen 1) engine. This turbo features an upgraded Billet Compressor Wheel and a high-flow Turbine Wheel, aiming to maximize exhaust efficiency and deliver enhanced performance. It is equipped with heavy-duty internals in the Center Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) for superior durability under high boost conditions, and is precision balanced for vibration-free operation and long-term reliability. It is capable of supporting over 350+ WHP, though results may vary based on fuel and supporting modifications. While compatible with Off-The-Shelf (OTS) maps, a custom ECU calibration is highly recommended to unlock the turbo's full power potential and ensure optimal engine safety. Fitment is specifically for the 2.0L B48 (Gen 1) Turbocharged I4 engine found in various BMW models, including the 120i/125i (2016-2019), 220i/230i (2016-2021), 320i/330i/330e (2015-2019), 420i/430i (2016-2019), 520i/530i/530e (2017-2019), X1 xDrive28i/20i/25i (2016-2019), X2 sDrive28i/M35i (2018-2019), and X3/X4 xDrive30i (2018-2019).
