Overview

The KC Turbos Stage 2 Turbocharger is a loud performance turbo designed for the 2003 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. It features a 10-blade turbine wheel for a distinctive spool whistle, similar to the original 2003 turbos.

This turbo is built from a brand new Garrett OEM core and includes a new VGT solenoid. It offers a 100% drop-in fitment with no modifications required. The Stage 2 turbo is capable of supporting 500 to 600 HP.

The KC Turbos Stage 2 Turbocharger, part number 300129, is a performance upgrade specifically designed for the 2003 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke engine. It is built from a brand new Garrett OEM core and includes a new VGT solenoid, offering a fresh, non-remanufactured unit without a core charge. This turbocharger is engineered for enhanced performance, supporting an impressive 500 to 600 HP range. It features a 64x88mm single-plane GTX-style billet compressor wheel with extended tips up to 94mm, paired with an upgraded .72ar race compressor cover designed for maximum airflow. The turbine side boasts a 72.5x66mm, 10-blade wheel, contributing to its characteristic loud spool whistle that echoes the sound of the original 2003 turbos. New high-flowing vanes and an upgraded 360 thrust bearing are also included for improved durability and performance. The installation process is designed to be straightforward, with a 100% drop-in fitment that requires no modifications. While it functions well with stock injectors, KC Turbos recommends upgrading to 175cc/30% or 190cc/30% injectors to fully leverage the increased airflow. For optimal performance and to take full advantage of the turbocharger's capabilities, custom SCT tuning is highly recommended. The product is available with standard or polished cover options, with a potential lead time of 1-2 weeks for polished covers.
