The AGP Stage 2 Wastegate Actuator is designed to replace the stock actuator on the factory turbochargers of 2003-2005 Neon SRT-4 and 2003-2007 PT Cruiser vehicles. Featuring a 12 psi spring, this component provides a significant increase over the stock 6-8 psi spring, resulting in higher boost levels across the power band and improved throttle response. It is styled to resemble OEM equipment, allowing it to pass visual inspections in states with strict emissions requirements. Installation is a straightforward plug-and-play process. To ensure proper boost levels, the turnbuckle on the end of the rod must be adjusted during installation; the rod should be pulled with significant resistance to seat onto the wastegate flap rod. After installation, road testing is required to fine-tune the boost pressure. If the vehicle builds boost slower than desired, the rod should be adjusted shorter; if boost levels are too high, the rod should be adjusted longer. This actuator serves as an ideal, cost-effective alternative to fully adjustable units for those seeking increased performance alongside a simple setup, and it complements the use of a Diablosport Tuner.
