Stage 2E Power-Max Boost Cooler

The Snow Performance Boost Cooler Stage 2E Power-Max is a water injection system engineered to enhance performance in turbocharged and supercharged engines. It can deliver a power increase of up to 10-25% while effectively managing engine temperatures, without causing thermal overload. This system significantly lowers charge air temperature by up to 60°C, cools the combustion chamber, and reduces the overall thermal strain on heavily modified engines. Utilizing a Hyper-Sonic atomiser nozzle, the Boost Cooler injects water or a water/alcohol mixture (methanol or ethanol) at high pressure into the hot charge air. This finely atomized liquid, swirled at supersonic speeds, creates a highly effective charge air intercooling effect as it evaporates. This process helps prevent uncontrolled combustion (knocking), offering performance comparable to 116 octane racing fuel. The included Dual Stage Upgrade enhances efficiency by employing two atomiser nozzles. The primary nozzle injects early in the process, while the secondary nozzle activates under peak loads to maximize cooling and performance. This dual-stage technology ensures optimal efficiency across all load ranges and is particularly beneficial for boost pressure-dependent injection control, making it ideal for centrifugal compressors like ProCharger and Vortech, as well as large turbochargers. The system also supports earlier ignition timing or higher compression ratios without risk of knocking, further contributing to power gains.
