Stage-3 Audio System Kit

The Rockford Fosgate HD9813RG-STG3 Stage-3 Speaker Kit represents the next step in motorcycle audio performance, offering one of the loudest and clearest systems developed by the brand. Designed specifically for select 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson Road Glide models, this kit ensures a superior on-bike audio experience, even at freeway speeds. The system boasts a total power output of 800 watts, delivered through a 4-channel external amplifier. This comprehensive kit includes (2) 6.5" Element Ready™ fairing speakers with phase-aligned tweeters and Road Glide® grilles, and (2) 6x9” Element Ready™ retrofit speaker kits designed for factory H-D® hardshell bags (non-fiberglass). The M5-800X4 amplifier is IPX6 rated, and the included RFK-HD9813M5 amp install kit facilitates a straightforward setup. Y-adaptors are also provided to support the expansion of lower fairing, saddlebag, or Tour-Pak® speakers. The speakers are custom-tuned to overcome wind, road, and exhaust noise, ensuring music clarity at highway speeds. Furthermore, the entire system is built to be Element Ready™, meaning its components are protected against water, dirt, UV exposure, and motorcycle vibration, ensuring longevity in harsh environments. The system also features corrosion protection, dust resistance, stainless hardware, thermal shock resistance, UV inhibitor materials, and vibration resistance, all tested to rigorous standards including RATS (Rockford Automated Testing System) and Klippel Verified certification. Important fitment considerations apply: The saddlebag kit is compatible only with ABS plastic lids and not with fiberglass lids. It is also not compatible with the H-D® Power Lock Kit. Installations on CVO™ and Screaming Eagle™ models are not plug-and-play and may require modification. Additionally, if the kit is used with the PMX-HD9813 head unit, the radio is not compatible with factory amplified systems, CB, intercom, rear volume controls, rear speakers on 1998-2005 Ultra’s, and factory-equipped satellite radio systems. Tour-Pak® speakers may also not be 100% plug-and-play compatible.
