The RacingLine Stage 3 Forged Monoblock Big Brake Kit represents a significant advancement in braking technology, engineered without compromise for exceptional stopping performance. At its core are one-piece forged monoblock 6-piston calipers, created through a complex 5-axis CNC machining process from a single billet. This construction method results in calipers that are both stiffer and lighter than conventional two-piece designs, offering excellent cooling characteristics and an aggressive aesthetic. The thin-profile calipers enhance stiffness, reduce weight, and improve wheel clearance packaging. RacingLine has precisely calibrated the piston sizes to complement VWG master cylinders and servos, ensuring a progressive and responsive pedal feel. This specific kit includes 355mm fully-floating 'triple-grove' two-piece rotors, which provide substantially increased heat capacity to minimize fade. These rotors are made from a high-cast carbon-steel mixture for a higher friction coefficient than standard steel. The fully floating design allows for thermal expansion and contraction, preventing cracking, while anti-rattle mounts ensure quiet operation. Composite Ceramic Fast-Road Pads are supplied as standard, offering a generic pad size to allow for a wide selection of aftermarket compounds suitable for various driving demands. Everything required for a direct bolt-on installation is included: rotors, calipers, mounting brackets, fast-road pads, and braided steel lines. RacingLine also offers optional Hub Adaptors for enhanced wheel clearance with OEM wheels. The 355mm rotor kit necessitates a minimum of 18-inch wheel diameter for adequate clearance.
