The ClutchMax Stage 3 Clutch Kit with Performance Chromoly Flywheel and Slave Cylinder bundle set is engineered for enhanced driving dynamics. The flywheel itself is constructed from 4140 Chromoly forged steel, CNC machined, and dynamically computer balanced to 15,000 RPM for optimal balance and durability. The pressure plate is made from ductile/nodular cast iron for maximum strength and wear resistance, while the diaphragm springs are crafted from 51CrV4 steel, undergoing a multi-stage heat-treating process for uncompromising performance. The clutch disc features a sintered copper ceramic (cerametallic) material with a chromoly sprung hub, providing ultimate holding power, maximum performance, and extended clutch life. This Stage 3 kit is well-suited for track use, performance street driving, and moderate daily use, boasting a torque capacity of 382 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 400 HP. A 500-mile break-in period is recommended. This clutch kit is compatible with a range of Audi and Volkswagen models, including the 2006-2008 Audi A3, 2007-2009 Volkswagen EOS, 2006-2008 Volkswagen GTI, 2006-2008 Volkswagen Jetta, and 2006-2008 Volkswagen Passat, all equipped with the 2.0L DOHC 4cyl Turbo FSI engine (BPY engine code only). It is exclusively designed for 6-speed manual transmissions and does *not* fit DSG transmissions.
