The ClutchMax Stage 3 Clutch Kit and Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle Set (CM10063HDCLSF-ST3) is engineered to provide superior performance and durability for demanding driving conditions. This kit includes a performance chromoly lightweight flywheel, a performance pressure plate, a stage 3 ceramic 6-puck sprung disc, a release bearing, a pilot bearing, an alignment tool, and a clutch installation guide. The flywheel is crafted from 4140 Chromoly forged steel, meticulously CNC machined and dynamically computer balanced to 15,000 RPM for optimal performance and reduced vibration. The pressure plate is made from high-strength ductile/nodular cast iron, ensuring maximum durability and wear resistance. German-sourced 51CrV4 steel is used for the diaphragm springs, which undergo a multi-stage heat-treating process to guarantee unwavering performance and longevity. The clutch disc features a sintered copper ceramic facing paired with a chromoly sprung hub, delivering ultimate holding power, maximum performance, and an extended lifespan. This stage 3 clutch is well-suited for track use, spirited street driving, and even moderate daily commuting. It boasts a torque capacity of 298 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 324 HP, with a recommended break-in period of 500 miles. This clutch kit is specifically designed to fit the 2006 - 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata models equipped with the 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder engine and the 6-speed manual transmission only.
