The South Bend Stage 3 Daily Clutch and Flywheel Kit is engineered for high horsepower vehicles seeking O.E.-like start performance with significantly increased torque and RPM capabilities. This kit is specifically designed for 6-speed manual transmissions. The Race Engineered (SS) pressure plate offers a substantial increase in clamp load (600-800 lbs. over stage 1, 2) and is SFI approved, contributing to a 20%-25% increase in pedal effort. The clutch disc utilizes a Performance Organic friction material with a high metal content, ensuring high torque transfer, dependable operation, and reduced wear due to low operating temperatures. Its sprung center and marcel fin provide a dual dampening effect for smooth engagement. This clutch package is recommended for daily driving, spirited street use, and occasional track events. The Race Engineered Pressure Plates (SS) are built for superior thermal resistance, stability, and longer life, delivering improved dynamics through higher clamp load.
