The South Bend Clutch K70316F-SS-O is a Stage 3 Daily clutch kit engineered for high horsepower applications, providing a performance start similar to original equipment while handling increased torque demands. This kit is designed for vehicles requiring a robust clutch upgrade, featuring a pressure plate that is Race Engineered (SS) and SFI approved, offering a significant load increase over stage 1 and 2 pressure plates. The clutch discs are constructed with a Performance Organic friction material that incorporates a high metal content. This design enhances torque and RPM capabilities and helps maintain lower operating temperatures, which in turn reduces wear and prevents glazing. The kit includes a 22.5 lbs single mass flywheel and is rated to handle up to 400 ft-lb of torque. Installation of this clutch will result in an expected pedal effort increase of 20%-25%.
