The South Bend Clutch Stage 3 Daily Clutch Kit (Part # K70688F-SS-O) is a performance clutch and flywheel system specifically designed for 1.8T Gen3 TSI engines from 2014-up. This Stage 3 Daily configuration features a Race Engineered (SS) and SFI-approved pressure plate that offers a significant increase in clamp load (600-800 lbs over Stage 1 or 2), resulting in a 20%-25% increase in pedal effort. The Performance Organic friction material has a high metal content, enhancing torque and RPM capability while maintaining low operating temperatures for reduced wear. The sprung center disc, combined with a marcel fin, provides a dual dampening effect that simulates OE start performance, making it suitable for daily driving and spirited street use, with occasional track use. All South Bend clutch kits, including this Stage 3 Daily, come with a South Bend single mass steel flywheel. The kit is recommended for high HP vehicles seeking starting performance similar to original equipment.
