The Texas Speed Stage 3 High Lift Truck Camshaft is a high-performance upgrade engineered for 1999-2013 GM Gen 3 and Gen 4 LS-based engines, including Vortec 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L blocks. By utilizing proprietary TSP lobe profiles, this camshaft improves power output across a 1200-6500 RPM operating range while prioritizing valvetrain stability, longevity, and quiet operation. It provides a noticeable, mild lope at idle while remaining suitable for daily driving. Technical specifications include a 216/220 duration, .600"/.600" valve lift, and 112 LSA with a standard 3-bolt pattern. It is compatible with both beehive and dual valve springs rated for at least .600" lift, with PAC 1219 or TSP/PAC .660 dual valve springs specifically recommended. For optimal performance, a compression ratio of 9.5:1 or higher is desired. Installation requires specific considerations: DOD/AFM-equipped engines must undergo a DOD/AFM delete, and VVT engines require a VVT delete kit. If the engine was originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit is mandatory.
