The Crower 62804-2 is a Stage 3 hydraulic roller camshaft engineered for supercharger applications, offering a performance upgrade for street and strip use. This camshaft is designed for Ford 4.6L/5.4L SOHC Modular 2-Valve engines from 1999 and up. Key specifications include a lobe lift of .340 inches on both the intake and exhaust sides, and an operational RPM range of 2000 to 6900 for the 4.6L engine (the range will be lower for the 5.4L). The advertised duration at the lobe is 274 degrees for both intake and exhaust, with valve duration at 288 degrees intake and exhaust. At .050 lift, the lobe duration is 228 degrees intake and exhaust, and the valve duration is 246 degrees intake and exhaust. The hydraulic roller design contributes to smoother operation and increased durability compared to flat tappet camshafts.
