Stage 3 LS3 N/A Camshaft

The Texas Speed Stage 3 LS3 N/A Camshaft is engineered for naturally aspirated street/strip applications, providing a significant power increase of 88 horsepower and 28 ft-lbs of torque. With a duration of 231/246 and a valve lift of 0.640" intake / 0.615" exhaust, this camshaft is designed to operate effectively in the 2000-6900 RPM range. It is specifically recommended for 6.0L and 6.2L engines that utilize L92/LS3 rectangular port cylinder heads, and a compression ratio of 10.5:1+ is advised for optimal performance. Installation of this camshaft requires specific supporting modifications. Automatic-equipped vehicles will need a minimum stall speed torque converter of 3,200 RPM. Additionally, TSP or PAC Dual .660 Valve Springs are required. This camshaft features a 3-bolt design. If your vehicle is equipped with a single-bolt factory camshaft, a three-bolt conversion kit is necessary. This kit includes the correct 4x upper timing gear for the camshaft position signal and an ARP camshaft bolt kit. A complete, upgraded timing set is also available as an option. Drivability is noted as great, with the cam being street-able and capable of daily driving once properly tuned. While it does not require an upgraded rear gear, the use of a 3200+ RPM aftermarket stall converter is mandatory for automatic transmissions.
