The Texas Speed & Performance Stage 3 LS3 N/A Camshaft is engineered for LS3 and LS2 engines equipped with L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads. Developed using state-of-the-art engine dyno testing, this camshaft aims to provide significant power gains and enhanced top-end performance. It is designed to be a more aggressive option than the Stage 2 (229/244) camshaft, delivering a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque. Key specifications for this camshaft include a duration of 231/246 at .050 lift, .640" intake lift, .615" exhaust lift, a 111 LSA, and a 109 ICL. Texas Speed & Performance recommends a minimum stall speed of 3,200 RPM for vehicles with automatic transmissions and a desired compression ratio of 10.5:1 or higher for optimal performance. This camshaft is compatible with 6.0L and 6.2L engines, specifically those with rectangular port heads. Installation of this camshaft requires specific supporting modifications. An aftermarket stall converter with a rating of 3,200 RPM or higher is recommended for automatic transmissions. Additionally, TSP recommends their TSP/PAC Dual .660" valve springs. It is important to note that this camshaft features a three-bolt design. If your vehicle is equipped with a factory single-bolt camshaft, a three-bolt conversion kit will be necessary. This kit includes the correct 4x upper timing gear for camshaft position signal and ARP camshaft bolts.
