These injectors utilize new nozzles, tungsten-coated plungers and barrels, and reconditioned nozzles to ensure quality and longevity. The larger custom-size nozzles provide improved control over fuel delivery during combustion, contributing to significant horsepower gains, up to an estimated 575hp at the rear wheels when paired with a custom performance chip. Additionally, the single-shot design offers increased mileage due to its efficiency compared to older split-shot designs. These hybrid injectors feature a larger plunger and barrel than stage two injectors, allowing them to move more fuel with the same stroke. Each set is meticulously built and flowed to within a 1% tolerance, ensuring consistency. Full Force Diesel emphasizes their commitment to quality by using new nozzles on all rebuilt injectors, a practice they highlight as a differentiator from competitors who may use used nozzles or charge extra for split-shot to single-shot conversions. For 1999-2003 Power Stroke diesels, a custom programmed chip is required to facilitate the transition from split-shot to these new single-shot injectors.
