The Brian Tooley Racing Stage 3 V2 Truck Camshaft is a hydraulic roller camshaft designed for naturally aspirated GM Gen III/IV truck engines. This camshaft features a lift of .553"/.553" and a duration of 218/224 with a 110 lobe separation angle. It is engineered to provide more average torque and higher peak power compared to previous Stage 3 grinds.

The Stage 3 V2 is an excellent all-around camshaft for truck enthusiasts, offering a distinct BTR idle note and sacrificing some low-end torque for increased power in the upper RPM range. While still considered tow-friendly, it is not ideal for daily hauling applications. An aftermarket torque converter is recommended for optimal performance with this camshaft.

The Brian Tooley Racing Stage 3 V2 Truck Camshaft (BTR31824100) is a high-performance upgrade for naturally aspirated GM Gen III/IV truck engines. Developed by Brian Tooley Racing, known for its industry-leading GM truck camshafts, this V2 series offers enhanced performance derived from an OEM Tier 1 supplier partnership. The camshaft is precision-ground on its own specific cam core, ensuring maximum heat treatment depth and durability. This Stage 3 V2 camshaft features a hydraulic roller design with .553"/.553" lift and 218/224 duration at .050 lift, with a 110 lobe separation angle. The revised camshaft centerlines contribute to improved average torque, making it a versatile option for applications ranging from toy haulers to street rods. The Stage 3 grind sacrifices some low-end torque for significant gains in the mid-to-upper RPM range, and produces a distinct BTR idle note. For optimal performance and to handle the camshaft's powerband, an aftermarket torque converter with a 2500-3000 RPM stall speed is recommended. This camshaft is designed for 1999-2013 GM Truck applications, including 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L engines.
