Description

The AGP Stage 3 Wastegate Actuator is designed as a direct replacement for the stock unit on 2003-2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 models equipped with the Mopar Stage 3 Turbo Upgrade Kit. This upgrade is intended for enthusiasts looking to extract more performance from their existing Mopar Stage 3 setup. The key benefit of this actuator is its ability to maintain higher boost pressure as engine RPMs increase, preventing a drop-off at redline. Beyond holding boost, the AGP Stage 3 WGA also addresses common turbo behavior issues. Furthermore, it helps eliminate boost oscillation, a phenomenon often experienced with lighter factory spring actuators, leading to a smoother and more predictable turbo response. This kit includes a custom-machined bracket that mounts directly to the factory points on the back of the compressor housing, simplifying installation. The actuator is fully adjustable for preload, allowing for fine-tuning of its operation. It comes with a base 8psi spring pre-installed. For users who prefer to manage boost levels via PCM tuning with devices like Diablosport or SCT, this 8psi spring is ideal. Additionally, the kit includes a 12psi and a 19psi spring, providing options for those who wish to run boost levels controlled directly by the wastegate actuator without PCM intervention.
