The South Bend Clutch Stage 4 Extreme clutch kit, part number K70319F-SS-X, is engineered for vehicles with extensive horsepower modifications that exceed Stage 3 capabilities. It features a Race Engineered pressure plate and a puck-style disc with graphite-impregnated ceramic friction material for superior durability, reduced chatter, and increased torque capacity. This clutch system is SFI approved and includes a flywheel, crank bolts, and a specialized pressure plate modified for the puck-style disc. It is intended for cars that have undergone significant engine modifications, aiming to reliably transfer extreme levels of power to the wheels. The Stage 4 Extreme is specifically recommended for drag racing, drifting, and limited street use where maximum performance and power handling are critical.
