Show original supplier description
The Pro Comp Stage I lift kit provides a 4-inch suspension increase specifically for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models, including both 2-door and 4-door configurations. This kit is designed to accommodate a maximum tire size of 35x12.50, allowing for a more aggressive stance and improved off-road capability. Included in this Stage I kit are Pro Comp ES9000 shocks, known for their performance-oriented damping. Installation requires careful attention to detail, and while not explicitly stated as mandatory, professional installation is often recommended for lift kits of this nature to ensure proper alignment and component function. It is important to note that for 2012-2016 Jeep JK 2-door and 4-door models, an exhaust spacer kit (Part # 55746B) or a replacement front driveshaft (Part # 55837B) may be required to ensure proper front driveshaft clearance after installation. Buyers should also be aware that the installation of any lift kit may necessitate a check of ball joints and tie rod ends to determine if replacement is needed for optimal safety and performance.
