Stage III GTX Turbocharger System

The APR Stage III GTX Turbocharger System is a comprehensive upgrade for the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 1 engine, transforming the vehicle's performance. At its core is a Garrett GTX2867R turbocharger, capable of flowing approximately 50 lbs/min of corrected air flow. The system's Inconel 625 manifold is constructed from a high-temperature resistant super alloy, designed to withstand extreme exhaust gas temperatures without expansion or cracking. It features sequential exhaust pulse runner lengths and a T25 outlet to promote faster turbocharger spool and immediate torque delivery. The included 3-inch T304 stainless steel downpipe ensures a smooth exhaust gas path from the turbocharger. APR has engineered a larger MAF sensor housing to ensure accurate airflow readings, complemented by a precision-machined tunnel and honeycomb airflow straightener. This is paired with a 3-bar Bosch MAP sensor and recoded ECU for closed-loop boost control up to 3 bar absolute, eliminating the need for external boost controllers. The system also includes wire-reinforced, multi-ply silicone hoses for an unrestricted airflow path and APR’s Easy-Flow design for smooth transitions. The ECU calibration has been meticulously developed through hundreds of hours of chassis dyno testing, ensuring smooth drivability, seamless gear changes, and responsive part-throttle operation. APR's proprietary torque management system minimizes wheel spin during rapid acceleration without compromising the driving experience. It dynamically adjusts torque based on real-time conditions, unlike static boost-by-gear strategies. This system also includes APR's EMCS program switching technology, allowing access to modes for pump fuel, race fuel, and valet. This kit upgrades existing APR Stage 3 customers to the newer Stage 3 GTX2867R turbo system. Fits 2005-2019 Audi A3, TT, TTS, and other 2.0T EA888 Gen 1 vehicles.
