This kit bypasses the factory strainer, replacing it with two easily accessible, serviceable oil screen filters relocated to the top of the engine. This design significantly simplifies maintenance, as the original strainer replacement requires extensive disassembly, including putting the vehicle in service position and removing components like throttle bodies and intercoolers. With the JHM kit, servicing the filters becomes a straightforward task, performed only once to save significant labor costs over time. The PTFE hoses have a stainless steel wire braided cover with a clear PVC outer cover for added protection against abrasion and corrosion.
