Stainless Header Package

The ZZP Stainless Header Package is engineered to be the ultimate exhaust header solution for the 3800 platform. Crafted from 100% stainless steel, these headers promise exceptional durability and a lifetime of resistance to rust. The package boasts perfect fitment, ensuring a straightforward installation process. Key features include 1 3/4" primaries, a 3" V-Band exit, and the crucial retention of EGR functionality. Designed for enthusiasts aiming for 300+ wheel horsepower, this header package addresses common installation and performance issues. Unlike other headers, these are precision-machined on a water jet to prevent warped flanges. They eliminate problems such as primaries sticking out past the flanges, spark plug boot interference, and leaking donut gaskets. The unique stepped band clamp connection simplifies alignment and ensures a leak-free seal, making it the quickest header installation available. Further enhancing the user experience, the headers offer easy access to the O2 sensor and a cleaner aesthetic due to the absence of flanges on the crossover pipe. Potential fitment considerations include fan clearance. If an issue arises, trimming the fan heat shroud or switching the fan blade/motor assembly is suggested. A fan spacer kit is also available separately. Additionally, this system is not recommended for '97 GTs with the 460 transmission due to tight clearances. The included high-flow catalytic converters are EPA certified but do not meet CARB standards.
