Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hose

The HEL Performance brake hose is engineered as a direct, like-for-like replacement for the standard flexible brake hoses on the Volkswagen Polo MK5 6R GTI 1.4TSi, covering model years from 2010 onwards. Constructed with a PTFE inner core, these hoses offer exceptional chemical resistance, shielding against perishing and cracking even with prolonged exposure to various fluids including petrol, diesel, race fuel, methanol, brake fluid, and coolant. A high-strength stainless steel overbraid reinforces the core, providing robust protection against wear and tear. The hose is finished with a durable, wipe-clean PVC cover, available in transparent or colored options, which also serves to protect body panels and paintwork from scratches. HEL's unique fitting and ferrule design ensures a secure and reliable connection. The internal multi-groove fitting creates sealing o-rings and allows for free rotation post-swaging, facilitating easier installation and precise fitment. A locking groove on the ferrule engages with the fitting to prevent detachment. These brake hoses are manufactured in-house by HEL Performance, utilizing CNC machinery for exceptional quality and durability, even under demanding conditions. They are tested rigorously in the lab and on the racetrack and comply with FMVSS-106 standards, making them road-legal worldwide.
