Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit

The TechnaFit SCI-1010 is a performance stainless steel brake line kit engineered as a direct replacement for the factory rubber hoses on Scion xB vehicles. This kit aims to eliminate the spongy pedal feel associated with stock lines, which can expand under pressure, by utilizing a robust construction that resists expansion. Constructed with a premium PTFE (Teflon®) inner hose and permanently crimped zinc-plated steel fittings, the lines are assembled in the USA. A protective outer layer of stainless steel woven mesh shields the PTFE core, ensuring resistance to brake fluid exposure and extreme pressures, up to 3000psi which is rigorously tested. This design contributes to a firmer pedal feel, more consistent brake modulation, and ultimately, enhanced braking control and responsiveness. Its DOT certification meets regulatory requirements for safety and reliability.
