Overview

The CarBahn exhaust system is constructed from stainless steel for maximum durability. This is a complete cat-back exhaust system. It retains the OEM catalyst and electronic controller valve in the mufflers, providing a mellow, sporty sound during normal driving without the drone often found in aftermarket exhausts. When the throttle is opened, the electronic valve increases flow for maximum power, producing a sporty sound that is not overly loud.

The CarBahn High flow exhaust is crafted from stainless steel for exceptional durability. This system is a complete cat-back exhaust, not merely a set of axle-back mufflers. This design allows for a mellow, sporty sound during everyday driving, crucially avoiding the drone commonly associated with aftermarket exhaust systems. When the driver engages full throttle (WOT), the ECU activates the electronic valve, which increases exhaust flow for peak power output. This results in a distinctly sporty sound profile that remains refined and not excessively loud. The exhaust system includes stainless steel tips, with an optional CarBahn Carbon exhaust tip available for further customization. This exhaust system is designed for the BMW F90 M5, including the M5 Competition and M5 CS models, for model years 2018 through 2023. It is specifically for automatic transmission, xDrive drivetrain, Sedan body style variants of the F90 chassis.
