This downpipe offers a significant upgrade by providing a powerful and engaging exhaust note without introducing undesirable cabin drone. When installing this aftermarket exhaust system, which is developed for use on closed tracks, remapping the ECU is recommended to prevent potential "check engine light" warning signals. **Important Fitment and Compliance Notes:** This Akrapovic downpipe is specifically designed for Left Hand Drive (LHD) models of the 2014+ F80 BMW M3 and 2014+ F82/F83 BMW M4, as well as the F87 M2 Competition with the S55 3.0L engine. It is crucial to note that this part alters or deletes emissions equipment and may not meet emissions standards in all states. A waiver of emissions compliance is required for purchase and installation in the US. It is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, nor is it for sale outside of the US or Canada.
