W201 owners can upgrade their braking system with this complete stainless steel brake line kit from Garagistic. This expansion can negatively affect brake caliper piston travel and result in a less responsive, "mushy" brake pedal. The benefits of this kit include a firmer, more direct brake pedal feel, which can lead to improved braking performance and modulation. The lines feature an inner Teflon line protected by a woven stainless steel braid and an abrasion-resistant plastic covering, with plastic end pieces to prevent exposed steel fibers.
