The SPELAB 2.5-inch downpipe exhaust is designed as a performance upgrade for turbocharged Mini Cooper S models from 2007 to 2016, including the R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, and R61 chassis. By removing factory restrictions, this component can lead to increased power and improved boost response, as the factory downpipe is often a performance bottleneck. The construction utilizes durable stainless steel with a mirror polish finish for enhanced aesthetics and corrosion resistance.
