The Speedwerx Stainless Steel Exhaust Header is engineered to enhance the performance of 2014-2020 Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail and Sport 700 models. This configuration is meticulously optimized to maximize overall power and performance. This approach eliminates the need for header wrap, contributing to a clean appearance and low-maintenance setup. The header includes a standard O2 sensor bung, with an option to add a second bung for compatibility with aftermarket tuning devices like the Dynojet Power Commander 6 Fuel and Ignition Controller, which is highly recommended for optimal performance gains. This controller allows for precise tuning of fuel injection and ignition timing, along with an increased rev limiter for enhanced top-end speed. Compatibility notes: This header is a direct bolt-in for 2016-2017 Sport models. However, for 2014-2020 Trail and 2015 & 2018-2019 Sport models, a muffler designed for the 2016-2017 Sport, along with a new exhaust donut and springs, will be required. This design choice accommodates the larger diameter manifold-to-muffler joint found on the 2016-2017 Sport models, minimizing restriction and maximizing performance potential. Performance gains vary by model year and muffler choice. For 14-20 Trail and 15 Sport models, gains of up to +10 hp (L2 Muffler) or +9.5 hp (Q6 Muffler) are achievable. For 16-17 Sport models, gains of +5 hp (L2 Muffler) or +4.5 hp (Q6 Muffler) at specific RPMs are noted. Additionally, the full system, when paired with a Power Commander 6, can result in significant weight reduction and an extended rev limiter. It is important to note that these items are intended for closed-course competition use only, and alteration of emissions-related components may violate federal or state laws.
