Stainless Steel Exhaust Header

The GSTP EH-28080-S exhaust header is engineered for 1965-1970 Ford and Mercury vehicles equipped with 260, 289, or 302 engines. This header is crafted from durable stainless steel with a mirror polish finish, featuring 16-gauge primary tubes with a 1 5/8-inch diameter and a 3-bolt flange collector measuring 2.5 inches in diameter. The flange thickness is 3/8 inch. It aims to eliminate restrictions and reduce back pressure for improved performance. Fitment is specific: it is designed for the 1964-1970 Ford Mustang with 4.3L 260Cu. In., 4.7L 289Cu. In., or 5.0L 302Cu. In. V8 engines. However, it explicitly does NOT fit the 1965, 1966, and 1968 Ford Mustang Base models. It is also compatible with a wide range of other Ford and Mercury models from 1965-1970, including various Fairlanes, Falcons, Mustangs, Cougar, and truck models. Important compatibility notes include: this header does not fit GT-40P heads or vehicles with an AOD transmission. For manual transmission cars from 1967-1970, additional clearance around the steering box on the driver's side may be required, and it only fits manual transmissions using a 10-inch or 10.5-inch clutch.
