Description

The Flyin' Miata turbo heat shield is constructed from stainless steel to provide robust protection for critical engine components. It shields the brake master cylinder, throttle cable, and coolant lines from the intense heat generated by the turbocharger, while also contributing to a cleaner engine bay appearance by partially obscuring the turbo itself. Installation is straightforward, as the shield directly bolts to the vehicle's chassis. This heat shield is compatible with various Flyin' Miata turbo systems, including the Custom Spec, FMII, and Voodoo II systems sold after 2005, as well as their DIY manifold/downpipe combination. Fitment is specified for the 1990-1997, 1999-2005 NA and NB chassis. It is important to note that this heat shield does not fit over the stock MSM turbo.
