This system is constructed entirely from stainless steel, including flanges, pipes, canisters, and tips, with all pipes being mandrel-bent and hand TIG-welded for superior durability. Unlike systems using less durable fiberglass wool, the Endura Lite employs heat-tempered ceramic wool, which is recommended for use with forced induction systems as it holds up better to extreme heat. The design addresses common complaints of drone found in other high-performance mufflers by increasing packing material density and selecting specific tubing wall thicknesses to minimize resonance. ScienceofSpeed guarantees fitment, with improved flange and rear valence tip fitment thanks to precisely manufactured jigs based on the factory exhaust. The unique slotted flange design also simplifies installation, accommodating variances in aftermarket header designs. Performance is enhanced through a unique crossover chamber that allows exhaust pulses from front and rear cylinder banks to equalize without turbulence, utilizing 60mm piping to maximize flow. The exhaust system provides gains of 5-8 horsepower on 3.0L engines and 8+ horsepower on 3.2L engines. When paired with ScienceofSpeed Advanced Headers, gains can exceed 25 horsepower. The system produces a distinctive, exotic baritone pitch, enhancing the NSX's inherent exotic nature.
