Stainless Steel Mandrel-Bent X-Pipe

The Pypes XFM44 is an after-cat X-pipe kit engineered to upgrade 2005-2010 Ford Mustang V6 models to a true dual exhaust configuration. By replacing the restrictive single exhaust, this mandrel-bent, 2.5-inch diameter crossover improves exhaust gas flow to provide a boost in acceleration and performance. The system is fabricated from durable, corrosion-resistant 409 stainless steel, featuring reinforcement plates at the welds for added longevity. Installation requires cutting the factory catted downpipe at the appropriate location to accommodate the new X-pipe. Note that this kit reuses your vehicle's existing stock catalytic converters, which are retained to maintain flow. Additionally, if your Mustang is currently equipped with a single exhaust system, you will need to add a GT catback exhaust to complete the conversion. All hardware and installation instructions are included in the kit.
