The Flyin' Miata NB midpipe and catalytic converter is a full stainless steel replacement for the restrictive factory components. It features a 300-cell ceramic catalytic converter with a 5-year/50,000-mile warranty on the housing and 25,000 miles on internals. The midpipe includes a slip joint for easy fitting and reduced shipping costs, and it works with all factory undercar bracing.

The Flyin' Miata NB 2.25" resonated midpipe and catalytic converter is a direct replacement designed to improve exhaust flow. Constructed from full stainless steel, it replaces the restrictive factory midpipe and catalytic converter. The unit houses a 300-cell ceramic catalytic converter, which comes with a 5-year/50,000-mile warranty on the housing and a 25,000-mile warranty for emissions test compliance. All other components are covered by a lifetime warranty. This resonated midpipe is suitable for both naturally aspirated and Stage 1 turbo Miatas. However, it is not compatible with the stock rear muffler on automatic transmission cars. Flyin' Miata also advises against using this midpipe with a supercharger and aftermarket header due to potential sound levels. Installation notes indicate that the FM midpipe flange and the factory muffler flange require a different gasket for a proper seal. While the seal may not be perfect with factory parts, using the factory donut gasket is recommended for the best results. This imperfect seal is not an issue when paired with a Flyin' Miata muffler. This catalytic converter is EPA-approved and emissions-certified for its application. It is important to note that it is not CARB legal and cannot be shipped to California, Colorado, New York, or Maine for 2001+ cars. The product fits 1999-03 and 2004-05 non-Mazdaspeed models.
