Description

The Sea-Dog MAXBLAST Dual Trumpet Horn is a 24V electric horn featuring a stamped 304 stainless steel exterior with an over-molded motor housing. It produces 123 decibels at a frequency of 390±15/330±15 Hz. This horn meets US Coast Guard's COLREGS, US Inland Navigation Rules, Annex III Regulations, and ABYC standard A-23 for boats up to 20 meters (66').

The horn has undergone a 600-hour salt spray test and was found to be completely rust-free. Its wiring has no polarity, allowing for either wire to be connected to negative or positive. The mounting bracket can also serve as a wiring template. For optimal performance and water drainage, the trumpet should be installed pointing slightly downward.
