The Stanadyne DB2 Injection pump is a remanufactured fuel system component specifically designed for 1983-early 1984 Ford E Series Vans and F250/F350 Pickups. This unit includes a new head and rotor assembly, directly addressing common hard start issues experienced with original equipment. Recognizing a known weakness in the original automotive Stanadyne DB2 pumps – wear in the all-aluminum advance bore where the steel advance piston resides – this remanufactured pump incorporates a critical upgrade. A steel sleeve is installed in the advance bore to prevent wear, which in turn ensures a more precise pump calibration. This enhancement leads to a superior injection pump that offers considerably longer service life, improved fuel mileage, reduced exhaust smoke, and more consistent power delivery. This injection pump comes with a 2-year warranty. A core exchange option is available with a $350.00 core charge, and terms and conditions for core returns are provided, including timelines for refunds based on return date.
