Standalone Engine Control Unit

The Syvecs S7-Plus ECU offers an advanced level of precise engine management control, built upon a powerful triple processor unit. This system utilizes a high-speed RISC processor for code execution and a dedicated FPGA for high-speed engine position tracking, ensuring independent scheduling of code from signal patterns for increased flexibility, efficiency, and accuracy, particularly during transient conditions. Designed for applications requiring programmable CAN Bus and Drive-By-Wire support, the S7-Plus is housed in a sealed aluminum billet unit featuring three waterproof connectors, providing 94 pins for comprehensive integration. It boasts 22 general-purpose analog inputs, including programmable trigger voltages for sensors, sync, and speed, as well as dedicated inputs for thermistors and 5V sensors. The outputs include 30 high/low side drivers, with eight half-bridge outputs capable of up to 10 amps, sixteen low-side injection/PWM outputs also up to 10 amps, and six TTL/IGBT ignition drivers. A main relay control circuit with Wake on CAN support is also integrated. Communication capabilities are extensive, featuring three CAN 2.0B buses (with the third usable for custom strategies), one RS232 output, one Kline output, and a 100 Mhz full-duplex Ethernet port for PC programming and data download. The ECU includes 32MB of onboard logging memory and operates within a voltage range of 6 to 20V with reverse polarity protection. It also provides three regulated 5V sensor supply outputs with protection and has an operating temperature range of -55 to +125°C. Additional features include direct support for NTK/LSU4.9/Denso AF Lambda sensors, K-type thermocouple input, and two knock inputs. Direct Injection and Paddle-Shift control are available as optional upgrades.
