The AMP EFI MSPNPPro-EECV_8CM is a comprehensive standalone engine management system engineered for the 1999-2004 'New Edge' Ford Mustang GT, 1999-2002 naturally aspirated Cobra, and 2003-2004 Mach 1 models. This system offers complete control over your engine's fuel and ignition, with 16x16 tables for both fuel and ignition. It includes multiple acceleration enrichment strategies, closed-loop idle speed control, and individual injector and ignition trim tables for up to 8 sequential channels. Onboard peak and hold drivers eliminate the need for an external ballast resistor, supporting both high and low impedance injectors. The internal 4-bar MAP sensor can read up to 44 PSI of boost. A pre-loaded base map helps ensure the engine starts on the first try. The unit boasts 8 GB of internal data logging with an SD card slot, and supports most aftermarket wideband sensors. A significant feature is its ability to communicate with the factory dashboard, maintaining the functionality of stock gauges and warning lights. Advanced features include a 12x12 Air Fuel Ratio Target Table, multiple traction control strategies (requiring a front wheel VSS), a 3-step rev limiter with launch control, and real-time barometric correction. It also supports configurable engine safeties, warning lights, and overboost protection. For enhanced capabilities, it offers closed-loop boost control (requires an EBC solenoid kit), CO2-based boost control, nitrous control strategies for two channels, rally-style anti-lag, water injection control, and a knock sensor input. A flex fuel sensor input allows on-the-fly switching between E85 and gasoline. The CANBus connector enables interconnection with other MegaSquirt-compatible devices, such as EGT inputs or automatic transmission controllers.
