Standalone Engine Management Unit

The ECU Master MWR-870432 is a direct-connect standalone engine management unit that completely replaces the stock ECU, taking full control of all engine and related body functionality. The harness is a direct connection, making it tidier and more compact than parallel kits. This unit features a robust CNC aluminum housing with IP 65 protection and operates within a temperature range of -40 to 105°C (AECQ100 Grade2). It is protected against reverse polarity and short circuits, with an operating voltage range of 6-22V that offers resistance to transients per ISO 7637. Key features include 8 injector outputs (5A protected, low side), 6 ignition outputs (15A rated, protected for passive or active coils, supporting up to 12 cylinders in wasted spark), and 6 auxiliary outputs (5A protected, low side). It also offers 9 analog inputs (0-5V, 10-bit resolution), 2 EGT inputs, 2 knock sensor inputs, and a built-in wideband controller supporting Bosch LSU 4.2, 4.9, or narrowband sensors. Communication is handled via USB, serial, or CAN-Bus. This ECU Master unit is specifically designed for manual transmission (MT ONLY) Toyota MR2 Spyder (MR-S) models from 2000-2005 and Celica GT (1ZZ) and GTS (2ZZ) models from 2000-2005 (with specific notes for 2003-05 Celica GTS non-USA models with cable throttle). It is also compatible with 2000+ non-USA market Corolla models with 1ZZ-FE, 2ZZ-GE, 3ZZ-FE, and 4ZZ-FE engines and 3-row ECU connectors. Crucially, it does NOT fit automatic or SMT transmissions, any North American Corolla models, or 2003-2006 Corolla/Matrix/Vibe models (which require a parallel kit). This unit is for off-highway use only and is not emissions legal, lacking OBD functionality.
