Overview

The Elite Engineering Standard catch can is a chassis component designed for the 2010-2015 Camaro SS LS3 and 2014-2015 Camaro Z28. It regulates and removes fumes from the engine crankcase, alleviating pressure that could cause oil leaks or seal damage. The catch can collects oil mist and condensed fuel vapors, allowing cleaner gases to pass back into the intake manifold.

By alleviating crankcase pressure, it helps to prevent potential oil leaks and damage to engine seals. Constructed from billet 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, the 2.6" diameter by 6.0" long body is anodized for a durable and attractive finish. Inside, a stainless steel condensing and filtration screen is housed within an aluminum alloy casing to minimize flow restriction. The brass inlet and outlet hose fittings are threaded and sealed with Teflon tape, and the supplied hoses are SAE 30R7 rated for fuel and oil vapor compatibility. The bottom reservoir can be easily unscrewed for inspection and cleaning without disturbing the rest of the installation. This catch can kit includes a custom-machined mounting bracket made from black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, specifically designed for the 2010-2015 Camaro SS LS3 and 2014-2015 Camaro Z28. All mounting hardware and screws are made from stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance. The kit comes complete with all necessary components for installation, requiring only basic mechanical skills and common hand tools.
