The Hedman HED69440 headers are engineered for 1988-1995 Chevrolet and GMC 2WD/4WD trucks equipped with 5.0L or 5.7L engines, specifically for models where the engine is offset to the passenger side. Constructed from mild steel with 1-5/8 inch CNC mandrel-bent long tubes and a 3-inch ball and socket collector, these headers are designed for enhanced exhaust flow to maximize horsepower and torque. Installation is aided by Hedman's unique gasketless ball and socket collector design, which allows for some misalignment with the exhaust system. These headers are compatible with factory A/C, power steering, and automatic transmission systems (both column and floor shift), as well as manual floor shift transmissions. They do not fit manual transmission column shift applications. It is important to note that the Hedman HED69440 headers do not fit angle plug heads and are for off-road use only, not legal for street use on 1975-later model years. The product is made in the USA and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Each set includes gaskets, header flange bolts, and collector bolts, but no collector gasket is needed.
