The GMB 947-2020 is a standard duty thermal fan clutch engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for Mercedes 380SL vehicles, specifically for model years 1981 through 1985 with a 3.8L V8 engine. This clutch offers a reliable solution for maintaining optimal engine cooling performance. Constructed from durable materials such as cold-rolled steel, aluminum, and high-carbon steel, the GMB 947-2020 is built for longevity. It features a double oil seal that effectively prevents leaks and surpasses OEM requirements in many applications, further enhancing its durability. The enhanced fin design promotes maximum heat dissipation, while also reducing fan noise and vibration during acceleration and cruising.
