It connects to magnetic pickups and has a points input, compatible with 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines. Features a single stage of retard, ideal for nitrous engines, adjustable from 1°-15° via a rotary dial. Allows selection of 5°, 10°, 15°, or 20° of retard during cranking to reduce stress on the starter and rotating assembly. Timing returns to mechanical setting once the engine starts or key is released.
