Overview

It features a synthetic nitrile O-ring mechanically locked to the inside diameter of an aluminum washer.

This washer provides the advantages of an O-ring seal without requiring machined grooves. It is capable of forming a positive seal across a temperature range of -85° to +450° F. Each package contains two Stat-O-Seals.

It features a unique construction where a synthetic nitrile O-ring is mechanically locked to the inside diameter of an aluminum washer. This innovative design offers the benefits of an O-ring seal, such as positive sealing, without the need for machining O-ring grooves into the mating component. The Stat-O-Seal is engineered to perform reliably across a wide temperature range, from -85° to +450° F, making it suitable for demanding environments. Each package includes two Stat-O-Seals. With a 1/2-inch inside diameter and designed to fit a #5 AN fitting, this sealing washer is an excellent alternative to standard copper or aluminum sealing washers, promising a better and more durable seal. The natural finish of the aluminum washer complements its functional design. This part is legal for sale or use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles, and Racing Use Only Vehicles because it does not affect vehicle emissions and is not covered by emissions regulations.
