STD HC Upper Control Arms

The JBA STD HC Upper Control Arms are engineered for the Toyota Tundra (2000-2006) and Toyota Sequoia (2001-2007) to directly replace the factory upper A-arms. These arms are pre-assembled and ready for installation, featuring American-made 1026 DOM A513-5 Domestic Tubing with a red powder-coat finish. They include JBA Max 90 ball joints and patented JBA EZ Lube synthetic elastomer bushings, designed for improved suspension geometry tuning and reduced maintenance. These control arms provide a significant benefit by offering 3 degrees of built-in caster, which helps to correct alignment issues that can arise after installing a lift kit. This integrated caster allows alignment technicians to achieve ideal handling on both off-road and highway conditions, preventing drifting and improving steering stability. The arms are designed to work with lifts providing 1 to 3.5 inches of lift, compatible with various spring lift, leveling kit, and cradle drop kit configurations. Maintenance is simplified with features like replaceable ball joints and the EZ Lube bushings, which have grease ports and a check valve system to ensure grease circulates properly without needing to loosen mounting bolts. The ball joints themselves are CNC-machined from 4140 steel, offer 90 degrees of motion, and are protected by a sealed boot and Cerakote housing, with a dedicated grease fitting for regular lubrication. Regular greasing of both ball joints and bushings is recommended every 3,000-5,000 miles. It's important to note that using ball joint spacers will void the JBA warranty.
