Description

The STANDARD IGN YA128 is a Yaw Rate Sensor (rotational speed sensor). It measures a vehicle’s angular velocity around its vertical axis to determine orientation during cornering or potential rollovers. By comparing actual to target yaw rate, the vehicle's computer can detect under- or over-steering and initiate corrective actions (e.g., reducing engine power, applying brakes to individual wheels) to restore stability. This sensor has a male terminal gender, 6 terminals, a female connector gender, and detects lateral acceleration.
