This turbocharger offers enhanced efficiency and is designed to support up to 700 rear wheel horsepower.

The Stealth Mach 1 64mm VGT Turbo from DuramaxTuner is engineered as a "stock appearing drop-in" replacement for 2017-2023 L5P Duramax and 2019+ L5D engines. It provides a significant increase in airflow, moving 74 lbs/min compared to the stock 60 lbs/min, and supports up to 700 rear wheel horsepower with supporting modifications and emissions-compliant tuning. This upgrade aims to deliver a balance of daily drivability, towing capability, and competition performance. The turbo features a custom billet 64mm 11-blade compressor wheel designed for a wide efficiency range, helping to prevent surge even when lugging. The 70.4mm 9-blade turbine wheel, made from a nickel alloy, is noted for producing a distinctive exhaust sound. Calibrated Power's proprietary High Flow Vane (HFV) technology is integrated into the nozzle ring assembly, allowing for taller and wider vanes to enhance high-load efficiency, reduce drive pressures, and improve Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) control compared to stock. However, custom tuning is strongly recommended to take full advantage of the turbo's capabilities, with claims of up to 650 RWHP achievable with emissions-compliant tuning and basic supporting modifications. The factory VGT actuator can be reused, and there is no core charge associated with this new assembly. The turbo also retains a fully functional exhaust brake capability.
